Well, Josefina and I made it back to Madison after a week at home in New Mexico. Although it was very sad to lose my Uncle Al, it was good to see my family and be back at home.

Thank you all for your prayers. I was able to check the board a little (rural NM only gets dial-up- and the phone lines don't work when it rains!) and your posts cheered me up. I'm excited to catch up on what everyone said while I was away.

Josefina was a great comfort to me. I could tell she was happy to be home as well. Taking photos with her kept my spirits up and embarassed my little siblings!
